Your SFSU ID is a nine-digit number assigned to you during the student application or hiring process. Your SFSU Login and Password and multi-factor authentication (MFA) device will allow you to access SFSU resources including:
Wi-Fi, email, Global Protect VPN, Box at SFSU, Online Course Content, and other web resources.
Use your SFSU Account as your Single Sign-on (SSO) at the SFSU Sign in page

SFSU needs your correct contact information to verify your identity and reach you if needed. Keep your information updated.
Important Tips:
- Don’t Share Personal Info: Keep your personal information private.
- Watch Out for Phishing: University accounts are often targeted. Don’t click on suspicious email links.
- Check Your Email: Make sure the external email you gave to SFSU is one you check often. Update it if needed. Update it if needed.

Universities email accounts are targets for phishing scams. Phishing emails can trick recipients into providing sensitive information like personal information, account passwords, credit card information, or banking records.
